The latest annual walking holiday with me, Mary and John. We were based at the Edera Hotel in Moneglia, an attractive village just north of the Cinque Terre region in Ligura province, which extends along the coastal region centred on Genoa. The weather was exceptionally hot, up to 34 degrees, so it was better for health to avoid long walks. I did manage to complete two short but worthwhile walks. The three of us did do a couple of boat trips and a few train journeys as we explored three of the five pretty villages which form the Cinque Terre (5 lands). Our flights were with Easyjet from Manchester to Milan and return. |
